Thanks to the Rucks International Scholars Award (RISA), LSU management majors can enrich their undergraduate experience and improve their career readiness by participating in a study abroad program. We are highlighting the learning journeys of the 2023-24 RISA recipients, as selected by the Rucks Department of Management.

In an era where the global food industry is increasingly dynamic and complex, professionals who can seamlessly navigate the intersections of food science and business are in high demand. The Graduate Certificate in Agribusiness, a collaboration between the LSU School of Nutrition and Food Sciences, the Department of Agricultural Economics & Agribusiness, and the E.J. Ourso College of Business, is designed to equip individuals with essential skills and knowledge for advancing their careers in this exciting sector.

If you are surprised to learn that E. J. Ourso College of Business students were part of the team helping small businesses through the LSU Cybersecurity Clinic, you are not alone.

The Louisiana Economy Forecasting Model, maintained by the Department of Economics, provides economic forecasts for Louisiana and the state's nine metropolitan areas for the current quarter and three quarters ahead. The forecasts for the third quarter of 2024 through the second quarter of 2025 suggest continuing slow growth in state economic activity and very slow employment growth in all but three metro areas.

The LSU100 is a highly competitive program that celebrates the 100 fastest-growing LSU graduate-owned or LSU graduate-led businesses in the world. Companies must apply each year to be considered for the list.

The LSU E. J. Ourso College of Business is proud to announce the 2024 Hall of Distinction inductees – Patrick J. Brandau, Stephen R. Fussell, and Lyttleton “Lyt” T. Harris IV – as well as the 2024 Outstanding Young Alum, Whitney Dawn Breaux.

The LSU E. J. Ourso College of Business is pleased to introduce an array of new faculty members for the 2024-2025 academic year. These new additions bring renowned expertise to the college in a variety of areas, including economics, finance, management, marketing, entrepreneurship and information systems.
