When criminals delete files, wipe drives or destroy devices, the evidence often survives in scattered pieces. No publicly available tool has been able to put those pieces back together until now. LSU’s team used their tool to solve the 2006 and 2007 grand challenges launched by DFRWS, the world’s premier digital forensics conference.

On Oct. 14-16, LSU’s College of Engineering will convene experts in construction management, industrial engineering, and AI and digital twin technologies to spark new ideas and forge new connections that improve how America builds.

For many engineering students, co-op experiences offer an opportunity to step outside the classroom and into real industry environments. These extended work terms allow students to apply technical knowledge, work alongside experienced professionals, and gain a deeper understanding of what engineering careers look like in practice.
