Organizations succeed or struggle because of their people: how they learn, how they're led, and how well they adapt to change. A graduate degree in Leadership & Human Resource Development (LHRD) prepares you to lead that work, whether you're about to finish your bachelor's degree or you're already years into your career.

Finishing your bachelor's degree? The LHRD MS program is open to graduates from most any major. Whether you studied psychology, communication, education, business, or something else entirely, you already have a foundation to build on. No GRE or GMAT is required to apply.
Already working? Earn your master's without stepping away from your job. Take classes 100% online through LSU Online, or on campus in a hybrid in-person & online format. What you learn on Tuesday night, you can use at work on Wednesday.

What is LHRD?

LHRD is about developing people and organizations. You'll study how adults learn, how to design training that works, how to grow leaders, and how to guide an organization through change. Traditional HR management centers on running HR functions such as hiring, pay, and benefits. LHRD focuses on helping people and organizations grow and perform at their best.
