The College of Science’s Pre-Health Advising, Support, and Education (PHASE) supports students and alumni from all majors who are interested in careers in Medicine, Dentistry, Optometry, and Podiatry. Made up of dedicated faculty and staff, PHASE connects students with the information, guidance, and resources they need to succeed on their pre-health path.
As members of the National Association of Advisors for the Health Professions (NAAHP),
our Student Services Office advisors provide expert guidance that fosters academic
achievement while supporting students’ personal and professional development for careers
in the health professions.
Our pre-health advisors support students pursuing careers in medicine, dentistry, optometry, and podiatry through individual advising, group sessions, application workshops, the LSU Pre-Med/Pre-Dental Review Committee, event updates, and connections to health-related opportunities in the community.
