LSU is creating a new School of Construction. By expanding the pool of construction graduates and fueling research that leads to new companies, products, and jobs, the school will play a key role in the success of Louisiana infrastructure projects and economic development initiatives for decades to come.

Taking summer classes at LSU offers smaller, less stressful learning environments, faster course completion and a greater chance of graduating on time. Students can gain research or study abroad experience, lighten fall schedules and explore new interests while staying productive all summer.

Six LSU faculty members have been selected as Rainmakers in Research by the LSU Council on Research based on their outstanding scholarship and creative activity within their respective ranks and disciplines. The Rainmaker awards recognize sustained work with high impact both within and beyond academia.
